one time in freshman year my biology teacher was teaching us about chromosomal disorders and apparently some women can have three X chromosomes and she went to go look up some pictures of what some women afflicted with this condition look like. unfortunately my teacher typed in “XXX females” and that worked about just as well as you’d expect

Voices of Talibes is a foundation that advocates for the rights of children in Senegal, West Africa. We aim to save children who are suffering through emotional, physical, psychological, and sexual trauma due to the neglect and poverty. This two-dimension org will, 1) be a foundation of ambassadors and speakers for children’s rights so that everyone on this side of the world can understand how this issue persists in Africa. 2) A charity that would collect anything from pennies to socks and send them to sites where children are affected. Anyone who participates in this cause, no matter how little, is not just a contributor but rather a member of a large group advocating for victims of neglect. This goal is neither unrealistic nor unattainable. Each one of us has the education, tools, power, and opportunities to remove or at least reduce this overlooked issue. All it takes is a chain reaction. We can act as catalysts by being voices and inspiring others to join a collective effort for this majestic cause. Who we are as individuals is a reflection of who we are as a population.

When I get comfortable,

I only miss you when I feel teeth sinking into me.
When my city is being devoured
Being reduced to plains and dirt roads
Chasing night skies.
Its pretty disgusting.
